Ryan J. Prado is a writer of short stories, poetry, and other assorted bric-a-brac. He is also an accomplished music journalist and copyeditor, with over 20 years experience and published articles, reviews and profiles in Paste, the Portland Mercury, Willamette Week, Submerge, Chico News and Review, Vortex, The Stranger, Wonka Vision, Revolver, and many others. Ryan has also contributed copywriting/copyediting for various other projects, including PDX Pop Now!, and Noise Pop Festival. Ryan has also been hired to write bios and copy for various PR campaigns, and in recent years has embarked into PR work for musicians in need of press coverage. He was also extremely psyched to help put out an album of archival music from 1970s Spokane-based rock band Blind Willie in 2023 via Catalonia-based label Guerssen Records.
